Where Excellent Room works, and how far we go.

One workshop, our own crews, and an honest map of the ground we can genuinely cover.

Introduction

Coverage you can hold us to

Plenty of interior companies list every city in the country and then subcontract whichever one you happen to live in. We would rather publish a shorter list and stand behind all of it.

Everything below is served from our own workshop in Palam, South West Delhi, by our own installation crews. Where a project sits outside that reach, we will tell you before you have spent time on it.

Why Excellent Room

The same team, wherever the site is

Not a local subcontractor hired for the week. The people fitting your home are on our payroll.

Fixed itemised pricing

The quote is locked before work begins, and any logistics cost appears as its own visible line.

One warranty everywhere

The same 10-year cover and on-site after-care applies across every location we serve.

Society paperwork handled

Permits, deposits and worker registration are part of the project, not something handed back to you.

Honest reach

If we cannot supervise a project properly from Palam, we say so rather than take the deposit.

Interior Designers in Delhi

Delhi is three housing markets in one city, and each fails differently. Builder floors arrive with developer-fitted kitchens built to a sale price rather than a lifespan. DDA and society flats from the eighties and nineties have excellent proportions and servicing that has long since dated. Independent plots in the older colonies offer real freedom and need real sanction. Our workshop sits in Palam, South West Delhi, so site visits across the city are a drive rather than an expedition. We survey before quoting, tell you plainly which parts of an existing fit-out are worth keeping, and plan deliveries around narrow colony lanes and the absence of a service lift.

Interior Designers in Dwarka

Dwarka is Delhi's largest planned sub-city and an overwhelmingly society-run market. Before a panel is cut there is a managing committee, a written permission, a damage deposit and a work-hour window to satisfy. Most towers were completed between the mid-nineties and the early 2010s, which puts a large share of kitchens and wardrobes past the point where repair beats replacement. Our workshop is in Palam, roughly ten minutes from most sectors, so a snag does not wait for the next site round. We size panels against your building's lift, handle committee paperwork ourselves, and will tell you honestly when society retrofitting work means your interiors should wait.

Interior Designers in Faridabad

Faridabad splits cleanly into two markets that share almost nothing. The older numbered sectors are dominated by independent houses and low-rise floors on generous plots, where owners have real freedom to move walls and real responsibility to get sanction. Greater Faridabad along the Neharpar corridor is high-rise and much newer, with association permits, fixed work hours and a shared service lift. Independent houses here also carry large unshaded western walls, so shading and material choice follow the orientation rather than a mood board. We check what repair work a society has scheduled before fixing new joinery against affected walls.

Interior Designers in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad has one of the most active resale markets in the region. Indirapuram's khands, Vasundhara's sectors and Vaishali are largely ready-to-move stock changing hands a second or third time, while Raj Nagar Extension and Crossing Republik add newer towers alongside them. Buying resale means inheriting somebody else's wiring, waterproofing and kitchen, which makes the survey the single most important step. We open one or two access points before quoting, check the electrical load against what a modern kitchen actually needs, and tell you what is genuinely reusable rather than selling a full strip-out. Ideally we survey before you complete, while the price is still negotiable.

Interior Designers in Greater Noida

Greater Noida West holds the newest large towers in the region, and a very high proportion of owners here are furnishing a first home. Handovers are often minimal and budgets tighter than in Gurugram, which is exactly where accepting the cheapest quote does the most long-term damage. This is the market where we most often advise doing less: a properly built kitchen and one finished bedroom beats a whole flat done in materials that will not survive five monsoons. We check walls for damp before fixing joinery against them, plan phasing so the second stage does not undo the first, and consolidate deliveries for high-floor lift access.

Interior Designers in Gurgaon

Gurugram is a condominium market, and that makes it operationally different from Delhi. Floor plates are larger, ceilings higher and budgets bigger, but everything moves through one service lift within hours the association sets. A significant share of units are handed over semi-finished, so the interior is often the first proper fit-out the flat has ever had rather than a replacement. West-facing glazing drives heat and glare decisions that shape the whole material palette. We cover the DLF phases, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road and the Dwarka Expressway corridor, consolidating deliveries against booked lift windows so no slot is wasted on a half load.

Interior Designers in Noida

Noida runs the most formalised renovation controls in the National Capital Region. Most societies require a written permit before work begins, hold a refundable deposit, keep lists of barred contractors and levy a daily fine where work proceeds without approval. None of that is a problem if you plan for it. The city also splits in two: older sectors nearer Delhi need renovation and rewiring, while the Expressway towers from sector 100 upward frequently arrive bare shell and need flooring, ceilings, electricals and joinery sequenced together. We apply for permits as part of the project and schedule to finish inside the window rather than test it.

Interior Designers in Ahmedabad

Where Mumbai and Chennai fight moisture, Ahmedabad fights heat and dryness. Summer temperatures push well past forty degrees with low humidity, which reverses the usual material logic: the risk here is timber shrinking and joints opening, not swelling, so detailing has to allow for movement. Direct sun degrades finishes and fades textiles quickly, so palettes are chosen not to bleach and high-gloss finishes are kept off west elevations. Independent bungalows form a much larger share of this market than in most metros, bringing terraces, courtyards and civil scope. The city's craft tradition also makes bespoke stone, brass and timber detailing genuinely achievable.

Interior Designers in Mumbai

Two things shape every Mumbai project. The first is carpet area: a 2 BHK here is frequently smaller than a 1 BHK in Hyderabad, so storage has to be engineered rather than furnished. The second is moisture, with relative humidity running at 85 to 90 percent through July and August and salt in the air. Those facts decide more than any style preference. We specify BWR cores as a floor and BWP in wet zones, use stainless hardware as standard rather than as an upgrade, and seal every panel edge properly because an unsealed edge is where moisture gets in. Redevelopment shells need the fit-out sequence resolved before the mood board.

Interior Designers in Pune

A great many Pune homeowners have either lived in Mumbai or compared against it, so expectations arrive fully formed. What differs is the canvas: layouts here are meaningfully larger for the same budget and the climate is far kinder than the coast. That combination produces the most straightforward projects we see in western India. The meaningful division is between standalone buildings and large integrated townships in Hinjewadi, Kharadi and along Nagar Road, which run structured approval and material-access systems. Older stock in Kothrud and Deccan behaves differently again, where wiring, plumbing and waterproofing usually need resolving before any joinery is fitted.

Interior Designers in Bengaluru

Bengaluru homeowners are, on average, the best-briefed in India. A decade of organised interior brands operating here means most clients arrive already knowing what a soft-close hinge is and what acrylic costs, which shortens the design stage considerably. The climate helps too: moderate temperatures and humidity that only spikes during monsoon mean the material palette is wider than in coastal cities, though kitchens and bathrooms still need proper grading. Termite pressure is genuine given the warmth and greenery, so treated cores are worth insisting on. Villa work in Sarjapur and Whitefield is a different discipline entirely, with double-height volumes needing lighting resolved in section.

Interior Designers in Chennai

Chennai combines sustained heat, coastal humidity above seventy percent for much of the year, salt-laden air and an annual cyclone season. There is no other major Indian city where material specification carries this much consequence. BWR is a baseline and BWP goes in every wet zone; hardware is stainless or treated because salt attacks fittings long before it attacks board. Hard water scales glass and fixtures quickly, so surfaces are chosen for how they clean rather than how they look on day one. Independent houses form a far larger share of this market than in most metros, bringing terrace waterproofing and civil scope into the interior.

Interior Designers in Hyderabad

Hyderabad's defining advantage is size. A 3 BHK in Gachibowli or Kokapet is frequently larger than a 4 BHK in Mumbai, which changes the conversation from squeezing storage in to deciding what a genuinely generous room should do. Granite is quarried and finished locally, making stone materially cheaper here than in cities that import it. The climate is hot and dry rather than humid for most of the year, so the material palette is broad, but west-facing rooms take serious afternoon load and the palette is chosen not to bleach. U-shaped and island kitchens are genuinely viable here because the plans have the width for them.

Interior Designers in Kolkata

Kolkata has some of the most generously proportioned residential stock in India, with high ceilings, deep rooms and detailing newer cities cannot replicate. It also has some of the oldest, and older buildings need preparation before any interior goes in. Add humidity that stays high for much of the year and the survey genuinely determines the quote. Rewiring, damp treatment and plaster repair are where budgets move, so we quote them as their own line rather than folding them into a headline figure. Newer towers in Salt Lake, New Town and Rajarhat run much like projects in any other metro and typically need far less preparation.

Questions

Locations FAQs

We design and deliver across Delhi NCR from our workshop in Palam, South West Delhi. Every city with a page below is one we service with our own installation crews rather than a subcontracted partner.

Occasionally, and only where we can supervise the work properly. Our entire model rests on our own crews being reachable from site, so we would rather decline a distant project than deliver it at arm's length. Ask us and we will give you a straight answer.

The materials and the workmanship do not. What varies slightly is logistics — distance, access and society requirements — and where that affects the total it appears as its own line on your quote rather than being absorbed invisibly.

Yes. Coverage and on-site after-care are identical across every location we serve, because the modular work is built in the same factory regardless of which city it is installed in.

That is the normal case rather than the exception across the NCR. Written permits, damage deposits, worker registration, fixed work hours and lift-booking windows are all standard, and we handle the paperwork as part of the project.
