How to read this

What to look at in a portfolio

Interior photography flatters everything. A wide lens, a low camera and good light will make almost any room look considered, which is why a gallery tells you less than people assume.

These are the details worth examining in ours, or in anyone else's.

  • Look at the joints. Where two panels meet is where cost-cutting shows first.
  • Check the shadow gaps and reveals are consistent across a run, not just in the hero shot.
  • See whether the lighting is layered, or whether one bright source is doing all the work.
  • Notice how storage is handled. Calm rooms usually mean generous concealed capacity.
  • Ask whether the room looks lived in or staged. Staged rooms hide the parts that fail.

Sometimes, where a client is willing to host a visit. Otherwise we can show you work in progress on site, which is often more revealing than a finished photograph.

We can take it as a starting point, but we will adapt it. Ceiling heights, light direction, room proportions and how you live all differ, and a design copied without those adjustments rarely lands the same way.
